Last Friday, Leep launched a new digital mentoring program in Mt Druitt, Western Sydney. Learners have the opportunity to have one-on-one assistance every Friday for an hour to learn about things online that are of importance to them.

Leep is proud be able to deliver volunteer driven one-on-one digital mentoring to members of the Mount Druitt Senior Citizens Club.

Dharshini, Aged Planner at Blacktown City Council, has shared the following  about the launch:

Hi Everyone,

The Digital Mentor Program at the Mount Druitt Senior Citizens Club was launched this morning. Catherine was excited to be the very first mentee to be working with mentors Amandeep and Lizanne supported by Leep’s Elizabeth Barry. A total of four mentees have the opportunity to have one-on-one assistance every Friday for an hour to learn about things that are of importance to them. The Digital Mentor Program is available free of charge to Club members and bookings must be made in advance. This program was initiated through the Senior Citizens Advisory Committee.

Congratulations to everyone involved – it’s off to a great start.
