This workshop will explore safe conversations, helping you to engage with clients whose life experiences, interests and viewpoints might be very different from yours!
Through this workshop you will learn:
- Safe topics to use when making conversation with a client
- How to redirect a conversation that has become uncomfortable for you or your client
- Skills of listening and tolerance so that you can explore topics even when there is disagreement
- Develop conversation skills that will help you in your everyday life as well as volunteering with clients.
This training is FREE for all volunteers working or living in Penrith, Hawkesbury, Blue Mountains, Parramatta, Blacktown, Cumberland Local Government Areas.
