Farming communities are offered free computer skills workshop and training to help increase their computer skills to help improve their access to drought information, support and funding available online. Roger Kitson, Parkes Shire Drought Response Officer, believes that farmers can maintain their business advantage and social well-being by expanding their digital literacy. Eligible farmers will be able to take home a free tablet.
