Over ninety university students from Christchurch participated in Student Volunteer Army’s (SVA) volunteering camp with the hope that connections will be made between the student volunteers and the communities involved. The students assisted with beach cleaning, walking tracks repairs, tree planting, digging and helping a community centre. SVA was formed in response to the Christchurch earthquake in 2010.
