‘Volunteers put themselves in harm’s way for the community – it’s important we give back’

New funding will be available from NSW Community Resilience Innovation Program (CRIP) and Emergency Volunteer Support Scheme (EVSS) to focus on enhancing disaster resilience, developing effective leaders and promoting volunteer agencies. Dugald Saunders, Member for Dubbo, believes that this will help support volunteers in developing their skills during a crisis.
