Major charities receive $50m injection to help bushfire victims and local economies

Salvation Army and St Vincent De Paul Society have received $40 million in funding to help with bushfire relief.  Funding will go towards food vouchers, transport costs, electricity and household expenses. A further $10 million will go face-to-face financial counselling.
