How are Aussie charities helping in the bushfire crisis?

Australian charities have been doing what they can to help the bushfire crisis by working hard to fundraise, help wildlife and deliver food to volunteers and those who have lost their homes.  Take a look at some of the charities who have been involved in supporting affected communities.

  • Australian Red Cross – fundraising, volunteer training, offering emergency grants
  • The Salvation Army – fundraising, helping communities get food and water, evacuation centres
  • St Vincent de Paul – fundraising, provision of food and clothing, helping people on the ground
  • Foodbank – sending pallets of food and hampers to affected regions
