After the fires: Donation Logistics and the Eurobodalla Volunteer Team Getting It Done

Tomakin resident Matthew Hatcher saw a need for managing donation logistics in his region, so he started an independent volunteer group South Coast Donation Logistics to rapidly meet bring help to his local community.

Many local councils and organisations were overwhelmed by the amount of physical donations brought in after the bushfire crisis in the Eurobodalla region. Local Matthew Hatcher knew these donations were very much needed in his community and started a logistics management group with 50 of his friends and family to help. These independent volunteers are able to move more swiftly than larger organisations and offer simple, personalised help.
