Northland Volunteer teaches manager new language

A Northland, New Zealand volunteer has taught her manager at a native plant nursery New Zealand Sign Language. 

The Mountains to Sea Conservation Trust runs a native plant nursery in Northland, the community with the highest rate of volunteering in New Zealand. Sweetie Loeak volunteers at the nursery, working alongside the nursery’s manager, Jordan MacDonald. Over time Sweetie has taught Jordan her primary means of communication, New Zealand Sign Language.
