There will be a number of activities spanning over 20 weeks aimed to improve health and well-being for seniors available to those in Parkes, Forbes, Condobolin, Peak Hill, Trundle, and Tullamore.
The Health Lifestyle and Wellness Program will offer activities such as yoga in a chair, music groups, and Tai Chi in an effort to keep residents healthy and living independently for longer. The program is run by Neighborhood Central of Parkes and Forbes. The activities will be tailored to individual needs, so accomodations can be made for all levels of ability.
