During a recent reprieve from fighting bushfires The Oaks Rural Fire Brigade brought their own supply of donated goods to the Central West drought-affected community of Condobolin.
The Oaks Rural Fire Brigade received an abundance of donated goods when the Green Wattle Creek Fire threatened the Macarthur region. Wanting to help other communities in need, the brigade organised a visit to Condobolin to spend time with locals and pass on some of the donations. The Macarthur community’s generosity fed over 500 people for two weeks in Condobolin, bringing much needed relief to those enduring drought conditions.
