Wool auctions across Australia were cancelled recently due to a ransomware attack on the industry’s main software provider. 

Wool growers saw delays in payment as a result of a recent cyber attack that halted the wool industry, aggravating financial issues caused by years of drought. The attack caused the first software outage in 25 years, exposing vulnerabilities in security.
