Designed for participants looking to join the workforce, this interactive seminar focuses on the benefits of having volunteering experience when looking for a job. Certain skills that are developed through volunteering are keenly sought after by employers, such as work ethic, working in a team and reliability. This workshop will explain how these skills can transfer over into paid roles.

• Which type of volunteering roles will help you develop skills for your career?
• How does volunteering change across different cultures and sectors?
This training is free for all volunteers working or living in the following local government areas; The Blue Mountains, Blacktown, Penrith, Hawkesbury, Parramatta, or Cumberland City Councils.
