Self-Care is something you can do to assist your overall well-being and capacity as a volunteer.

We understand that many volunteers work closely with the community and that this can expose you to stressful and sometimes traumatic circumstances.

This training workshop has been designed specifically to help you avoid Burn-out and Compassion Fatigue. We value your contribution to building connection and inclusion, and would like to assist you to continue to volunteer in a sustainable way.

Through this experiential course, you will learn how to:

  • Learn the Three Pillars of Self-Care
  • Identify Compassion Fatigue & Burn Out
  • Develop a Self-Care Plan

This training is FREE for volunteers working in Penrith, Hawkesbury, Blue Mountains, Parramatta, Blacktown, Cumberland and The Hills Local Government Areas.
