Volunteers play a significant role working with our communities and give their skills, time, and energy for the benefit of others. Volunteering also has many benefits for the individual in terms of developing transferrable skills and increasing employability. This workshop will provide practical guidance on how to select volunteer roles that can increase skills and experience and will also offer ideas on how you can present this in a job application and interview.

  3. Identify ways to improve your employability via a volunteer role
  4. Identify ways to highlight and present your skills gained through a volunteer role in a job application and interview
  5. Understand the benefits of having a professional LinkedIn profile
